The University of Glasgow dates from the middle of the fifteenth century. It is one of the UK\\\'s leading universities with an international reputation for its research and teaching.It has almost 16,000 undergraduate and 4,000 postgraduate students. It is firmly rooted in the West of Scotland.

Most of the University\\\'s 100 departments are found on the Gilmorehill campus.
The University Veterinary School is located at the Garscube Campus. The University\\\'s Crichton Campus is located on the outskirts of Dumfries, in South West Scotland.
Scholarships of GBP 3000 are being offered to Pakistani students, subject to having good academic grades throughout academic tenure. This is merit based scholarship and granting/ not granting the scholarship is sole discretion by the University. The University of Glasgow Business School prides itself on its tradition of providing research led management education and development geared to meeting the needs of current and future senior managers. In delivering such education, the School places particular emphasis on ensuring that programmes are innovative in terms of delivery and provide students with leading-edge interdisciplinary perspectives on management.
The Glasgow MBA programme is designed to advance your personal development and career prospects in a rapidly changing world. As a Glasgow MBA student, you will have access to the University Careers Services, which offers career management workshops, database systems designed to assist in the process of beginning or resuming a career after study, and one-on-one sessions with a Careers Advisor, specialising in the areas of Law, Business and Finance. In addition, the University of Glasgow Business School has a dedicated Convenor of Postgraduate Student Affairs who will offer you guidance and support from induction through to graduation, and assist you through the career development stages of the MBA programme, with activities such as visits with employers and CV workshops. She will also give advice on making the most of Fresh Talent, a programme allowing graduates of Scottish educational institutions who have successfully completed a degree in Scotland to remain in Scotland and work for two years after completing their studies.
Most of our MBA graduates find jobs within 3 months of graduating, usually in senior management or consultancy roles. Organisations that have hired our graduates include IBM, Scottish Enterprise, Deloitte Touche, Citigroup, the Call Centre Association, Zurich Financial Services, and Associated Newspapers, and among many others.
The School has links with organisations such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Associated Newspapers, the Wood Group, Telegraph Group, and Rainey, Kelly, Campbell, and Roalfe/Y&R.
